WHO DO WE THANK? THERE ARE SO MANY WHO HAVE BLESSED US AND MADE OUR MINISTRY POSSIBLE. Today, there are those who continue to faithfully support us after 30 years. We are grateful to Julio Fernandez & Tito Arevalo who has made this web site possible. To my beautiful wife Lucia.. my loving companion; to my eight natural children: Lucia de Jesus, Magdalena de la Cruz, Soledad de Getsemani, Juan Gaspar, Mariana Caridad, Francisco Nazario, Maria Natividad, & Josue who have blessed me so. To my mother Lillian, my wheel-chair ridden prayer warrior whose smiles remain engraved in my heart even today. To my sister Rose whose love has been uplifting. To Elias Perez, who made his last journey to our center in 1986, just 10 days before his death, to assure that Lucia and I were walking in truth. To the late Rev. Loren Helm whose love and message of self-denial enlightened our hearts and seasoned our ministers and evolving ministry. To our living angel sent to us in 1978... a selfless soul who gave our ministry it’s beginning and a momentum that has carried us through until this day. To those who have come since... those who encourage us today... Oh, too many to mention for if I were to continue, there would be so many pages. Our sincere thanks... our love to each of you who have made the Mano de Ayuda Ministry a center of life and hope for the needy. And most of all to our Lord Jesus, who called us and has loved us so faithfully along our journey, accompanying us and providing us with strength to pursue a purpose not our own.
MANO DE AYUDA HAS HAD MANY VISITORS DURING THE PAST YEARS. An NFL super star, Randy Moss; a Pulitzer Prize winner, the late Eddie Adams; Governors; a Mexican Presidential Aspirant, Ing. Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas; Senators; CEOs; Senior Pastors; Bishops and Archbishops but never has anyone impacted our lives more than the visit of Jesus. He came into our hearts that April day in 1986 and has stayed ever since... our lives have never been the same... never will. His grace... His campaign for souls is enduring. His purpose and His mission are before us.
